Please join us for a workshop on Mergers and Acquisitions in Anaheim this coming Academy meeting. We have a great line up of scholars, who will be able to give a great overview of key topics, give a chance to reflect on unchartered terrain, and forge new collaborations. Would be great to meet you there! The program for the session is attached, and some highlights are described below.
We're scheduled for Saturday August 6 11:15am until 1:45pm in the Anaheim Mariott (Grand Ballroom, Salon A & B).
Some highlights: Dave King and John Haleblian each will reflect on their seminal meta-anaysis and review pieces, and Kimberly Ellis and Taco Reus reflect on the very latest in top research on M&As. We'll also have round tables on different themes such as international acquisitions, post-merger integration, and acquisitions and stakeholders with table hosts Olivier Bertrand, Marie-Ann Betschinger, Mario Schijven, Maurizio Zollo and Phil Mirvis. These table discussions will be kick started with short presentations by the table hosts. Lastly, Quy Huy intrviews Yaakov Weber, Mark Sirower, Bruce Lamont and Maurizio Zollo on collaborations that cross research, practice, teaching as well as countries.
