If you are attending the Academy of International Business (AIB) in Milan, the Association for Japanese Business Studies (AJBS) meets immediately beforehand on June 29 and 30.
On June 30th from 10:30 to 12:00 the Asia Academy of Management will be sponsoring a session on "Asia and Japan" at the conference. Nitin Pankargar (National University of Singapore) and Ma Xufei (Chinese University of Hong Kong) will speak from 10:30-11:15 on research on Japan & Asia. Then from 11:15-12:00 Rosalie Tung former president of the Academy of Management and Joseph Cheng of the University of Illinois will be speaking on the future outlook of Japan and Asia and research in this domain. Please attend this session if you can - it will be very insightful on Japan and Asia research.
