The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University seeks a full-time Clinical Professor to teach primarily in its undergraduate program, and secondarily, in its graduate program. The designation, Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor will depend on experience and qualifications. This is a non-tenure track position and is available August 2007.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The person appointed will have major responsibility in the international business area. Students pursuing one of The Smeal College`s business degrees may compliment their major field courses with the election of the highly successful minor in international business. There are a specified number of international business, international-related courses, and an exciting educational experience abroad. Special expertise in East Asia, Latin America, or the Middle East is a plus. This position is an ideal appointment for an individual who wishes to concentrate exclusively on undergraduate and some MBA teaching and related activities such as mentoring and international curriculum development.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in Business Administration and/or executive experience in international business is required. Teaching experience, substantial business experience and pedagogical experience using computers is desirable.
