The Department of Management in the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri invites applicants with strong academic credentials in strategic management for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level. Candidates should have completed a PhD in strategic management or a related discipline by the start date in August 2013, have a record of top-tier publications in the area of strategic management, and have a demonstrated commitment to such publications. The candidate hired for this position will be expected to play a role in the department's undergraduate and MBA capstone courses, in PhD seminars, and in the direction of doctoral students.
The Trulaske College of Business, housed in a state-of-the art building, consists of 64 full-time faculty members who serve approximately 4,000 undergraduates, 275 master's students, and 40 doctoral students. The Department of Management consists of sixteen tenure-track faculty members who share a strong commitment to research and teaching and seek colleagues who share this commitment. The department includes faculty with expertise in strategic management, organizational behavior and theory, human resources, entrepreneurship, management information systems, and operations and production.
