    Management and International Business – Assistant or Associate Professor Level

     

                    The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Business <st1:personname w:st="on">Admin</st1:personname>istration</st1:placename></st1:place> invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Management and International Business at the assistant or associate level for undergraduate and MBA instruction beginning August 2011.  The successful candidate will have expertise in international business, with secondary expertise in strategic management and entrepreneurship. Teaching assignments will include all of Stetson's <st1:state w:st="on">Florida</st1:state> campuses (DeLand, Celebration, and <st1:place w:st="on"> <st1:city w:st="on">Gulfport</st1:city></st1:place>).  The successful candidate will have appropriate academic credentials for appointment to the suitable rank, including an earned PhD by May 2011.  The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Business <st1:personname w:st="on">Admin</st1:personname>istration</st1:placename></st1:place> seeks candidates with an interest in quality teaching, an active research agenda, and meaningful service.

     

    THE SCHOOL

                    The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Business <st1:personname w:st="on">Admin</st1:personname>istration</st1:placename></st1:place> offers Bachelor's degrees and Master's degrees in Business <st1:personname w:st="on">Admin</st1:personname>istration (MBA) as well as Accountancy (MACC).  The MBA program offers classes in both DeLand and Celebration, and the joint MBA/JD program is offered at the <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Law</st1:placename> campus in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">St. Petersburg</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on"> Florida</st1:state></st1:place>.  Stetson's undergraduate and graduate Business <st1:personname w:st="on">Admin</st1:personname>istration and Accounting programs are accredited by the AACSB.  Stetson also enjoys several distinctive programs such as the Joseph C.     DEPARTMENT CHAIR AND PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT: The School of Business at the College of Charleston is seeking a Chair for the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship with a preferred target start date of January 1, 2013 but can be August 16, 2013. Candidates must have an outstanding record that will support tenure and promotion at the rank of Professor of Management. The Department is comprised of 10 full-time faculty members, and offers a BS in Business Administration as well as a minor, and concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Change, and Social Responsibility. We are seeking a dynamic and collegial individual with a record of sustained scholarship and teaching excellence who is committed to supporting the School’s increasingly global orientation.
