Assistant/Associate Professor - International Management

The Department of Management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applicants for a full time (academic), tenure-track position beginning August 2014. The candidate should possess expertise in International Management, a secondary interest in logistics or operations management would be valued. Candidates should also have an interest in teaching at least one of the following areas: Global Responsibility of Business, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, and /or History of Management. Rank will be Assistant Professor or Associate, with competitive salary and benefits.
A typical semester includes a nine-hour-teaching load, with two preparations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in teaching an upper-level course in international management-related field and to contribute to both the Management and International Business majors. The successful candidate must also have a strong commitment to scholarly activities that result in peer-reviewed publications.

A Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a related field is required (ABDs near completion will be considered). Candidates are expected to have high professional ethical standards and to be able to perform as excellent teachers, researchers and service providers. Experience in teaching and scholarship is desirable.
