    Position Announcement

    Strategic Management Faculty

    California State University, San Marcos has one or more tenure-track positions available in Strategic Management beginning Fall 2008. Applicants for all ranks will be considered. Candidates with experience teaching capstone strategic management courses will be given preference. The ability to teach in the entrepreneurship and/or international management areas will also be considered. Teaching responsibilities may include both undergraduate and MBA levels.

    Applicants should possess an appropriate doctorate from an accredited university and demonstrate teaching excellence, the ability to complete quality research and the desire to be involved with the business community. Strong ABD candidates will be considered. Salary is competitive with peer institutions.

    CSUSM is a rapidly growing university with approximately 8,000 total students, 1900 undergraduate business, and 70 MBA students, and is expected to grow to 25,000 at full capacity. The College now occupies a new state-of-the-art business building. San Marcos is located in North San Diego County, approximately 35 miles from both downtown San Diego and Orange County, offering a full-range of recreational, cultural, entertainment, and shopping opportunities.

    Hi Ofer,
     
    Since we don't have a table at the Conference, it might be good to add to the job ad that, for those wishing to be interviewed at the AOM Conference, please send the CV as an attachment to e-mail to Martin Gannon (mgannon@csusm.edu), who will be interviewing at the AOM Conference and who will be available by cell phone at it (760-613-2213).  Gretchen is on vacation as of July 27 and so e-mails going to her won't reach me.
