With Apologies for Cross-Posting
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to extend an invitation to all colleagues who may be interested in contributing a chapter. Please see below for complete detail!
Agata and I are organizing a workshop session for the Academy of Management Orlando meeting, August 9-13, 2013. This session is titled: Capitalism and the Social Relationship: An Organizational Perspective. This PDW will be organized as series of roundtable discussions, facilitated by section chairs to address review of the book chapters for Palgrave-Macmillan that you will be submitting prior to the conference (see details and deadlines in the attachment). Each of the section chairs will report their key results to the larger session. Each participant thus will be listed on the program as a presenter, since they will interactively present their book chapter and their review of other chapters.
If you are interested in joining us as a presenter in this submission, please provide us with the following information:
1. Your name as you want it listed on the program.
2. Your Chapter proposal title for Palgrave-Macmillan book as outlined in the attachment
3. Your institutional affiliation as you want it listed on the program. Please use the form "Harvard U." rather than "Harvard Business School."
4. Your email address that you wish to have listed on the program. If this is different from the one you wish to communicate with us from, please explain that.
5. The phone number you wish to have us submit to the AOM for this submission.
6. Though not strictly required, if you have a fax number we will include that in the submission.
7. The postal mailing address that you wish to have us include for you in the submission, if requested.
8. If you know that you are an AOM member now, or not, let us know. We can enter members into our submission quite easily by linking to their existing membership record. Though we will not submit them to the AOM, we would appreciate your providing us with additional phone numbers in case you are not at your office when we call. These might include your mobile, home, and/or Skype numbers.
9. We need your commitment that you will attend and present at this session if it is accepted and that you are not in violation of the rule of 3 + 3. This refers to the fact that individuals are allowed only 3 presentations or other roles in workshop sessions and an additional 3 in other types of paper/symposium presentations for a total of 6. Again we need you to send us a confirmation that you will meet this requirement. (If circumstances arise that prevent someone from keeping this commitment, we will be okay since we will have a goodly number of presenters in our session).
We request that you respond to us promptly so we can move ahead quickly. Please send your responses to Agata and me at hkazero@inverhills.edu, and astachowicz@polsl.pl <mailto:astachowicz@polsl.pl> .
Best Regards,
Hamid Kazeroony & Agata Stachowicz-Stanuschle
