Publishing in "top-tier" journals is important to the careers of scholars in most universities, yet many experience frustration with the research process. IThis PDW, is designed to help scholars develop research that is suitable for top-tier management journals. A select group of leading careers scholars will share their experiences of conducting research, writing manuscripts, and navigating the review process. They will offer advice on how to publish careers research that is rigorous and relevant. These scholars will share personal stories of publishing success as well as challenges and frustrations they have faced with the research process. From this PDW, participants will take away tips for publishing research in top- tier management journals, and advice on how to successfully manage the review process. While these scholars will reveal tips for publishing in journals that routinely publish careers research, particular attention will be placed on how they have been able to successfully publish in mainstream management journals.
