    UCD MICHAEL SMURFIT SCHOOL OF BUSINESS POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

    UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business is one of the top business schools in
    Europe and Ireland’s leading business school, offering the benefits of
    Ireland’s largest and most richly diversified university, with the intimacy
    of two dedicated business school buildings. UCD Michael Smurfit School of
    Business holds the Triple Crown of Accreditations, the three major
    international business school accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.

    CHAIRS IN MANAGEMENT

    We are pleased to announce that the UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business
    is currently seeking to fill the following four chairs:

    · Chair in Organizational Behavior
    · Chair in Management
    · Chair in Supply Chain Management
    · Chair in Technology and Innovation Management.

    Each of these four chairs represents full-time professorships in the
    Department of Management. The successful candidate will be a scholar of
    distinction and will possess a PhD in an underlying core discipline in the
    relevant subject area. The person appointed must be fully committed to
    providing leadership in the relevant subject area within the academic
    community and contribute to the formation of the subject at national and
    international levels.

    The successful candidate should possess:

    ·A distinguished record of research, as evidenced by publications in peer
    reviewed international journals and contributions to international
    conferences;
    ·A proven academic leadership record, including a capacity to lead a team of
    faculty members and colleagues;
    ·Teaching experience in the relevant subject area at University level,
    including the supervision of postgraduate students up to and including PhD
    level;
    ·A proven ability to attract funding for the development of a programme in
    the relevant subject area to include funding for research, curriculum
    development and programmes.
