  • 1.  call for OFFICERS and COMMITTEE MEMBERS for the EuroMed Academy of Business

    Dear Colleagues

    As a primarily volunteer organization, the EuroMed Research Business Institute (EMRBI) is looking for officers and committee members for various divisions (strategy, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, international management, finance, marketing, tourism, human resource, accounting, ethics and social responsibility etc) for the EuroMed Academy of Business.

    You may nominate yourself and/or others for officer positions or committee member at any of the division. You may suggest division or interest group.

    For more details about the responsibilities of officers and committees please visit the EMRBI website www.emrbi.com : for Governance, and thereafter to committees

    New officers and committee members officially assume their positions at the conclusion of the EuroMed Academy of Business annual meeting.

    The deadline for nominations is July 20, 2008. To submit your nominations, please contact the Chairs of the Nominating Committee:

    After July 20 announcement of  the candidates for divisions officers and committee members will be sent to all.

    The elections will take place during the EuroMed Academy of Business conference at Provence, Marseille, France on November 18, 2008.

    The membership at large shall elect officers by a majority of the votes. Candidates receiving the largest number of votes, out of the votes cast for a particular office, shall be deemed elected.

    Dear Colleagues



    As a primarily volunteer organization, we are looking for officers and
    members for various COMMITTEES/DIVISIONS (strategy, entrepreneurship,
    international management, finance, marketing, tourism, human resource,
    accounting, ethics and social responsibility, and more) for EuroMed Academy
    of Business (EMAB). EMAB is part of EuroMed Research Business Institute
    (EMRBI). For more details please visit the website www.emrbi.com at Division

    Currently EMAB has about 30 committees with about 150 members. Some of the
    committees were very active. Several committees, based on consortiums of
    about 15 partners each, applied to various entities (for example, to
    European Commission) for large amount of grants. The consortium included
    various universities and business associations such as manufacturer
    association and federation of chambers of commerce from various countries.



    The total amount of applications was more than 4 million Euros.



    You are invited to:



    1. Nominate colleagues and/or yourself for officer position(s) or member at
    any of the division/committee.



    2. Suggest new division or interest group.



    New officers and committee members officially assume their positions at the
    conclusion of the EuroMed Academy of Business annual meeting. This meeting
    will take place at the Conference, at Salerno, Italy, October, 26-28 (see
    website for call for papers, pictures, etc.)
