Dear Colleagues
As a primarily volunteer organization, we are looking for officers and
members for various COMMITTEES/DIVISIONS (strategy, entrepreneurship,
international management, finance, marketing, tourism, human resource,
accounting, ethics and social responsibility, and more) for EuroMed Academy
of Business (EMAB). EMAB is part of EuroMed Research Business Institute

Currently EMAB has about 30 committees with about 150 members. Some of the
committees were very active. Several committees, based on consortiums of
about 15 partners each, applied to various entities (for example, to
European Commission) for large amount of grants. The consortium included
various universities and business associations such as manufacturer
association and federation of chambers of commerce from various countries.
The total amount of applications was more than 4 million Euros.
You are invited to:
1. Nominate colleagues and/or yourself for officer position(s) or member at
any of the division/committee.
2. Suggest new division or interest group.
New officers and committee members officially assume their positions at the
conclusion of the EuroMed Academy of Business annual meeting. This meeting
will take place at the Conference, at Salerno, Italy, October, 26-28 (see
website for call for papers, pictures, etc.)
The deadline for nominations is July 20, 2008. To submit your nominations,

The elections will take place during the EuroMed Academy of Business Annual
conference at Salerno, Italy on October 28, 2009. (See website for call for
papers, pictures, etc.)
The membership at large shall elect officers by a majority of the votes.
Candidates receiving the largest number of votes, out of the votes cast for
a particular office, shall be deemed elected. In the event of a tie, the
Executive Board will decide the winner.
