This event is devoted to remembering the life and work of Professor Kwok Leung.
Event 2: IACMR Highlights & Distinguished Speaker

The IACMR Highlights & Distinguished Speaker Meeting will offer Academy members an opportunity to learn about the association and the programs it offers, and to hear from top scholars and practitioners discussing cutting-edge research and practice. This year, IACMR invited Adrian Micu (President and CEO at Haier America) to discuss cross-cultural management practices. Haier America is a division of the multinational Haier Group, a global leader in home appliances and consumer electronics. Haier employs more than 70,000 people around the world and distributes products in more than 100 countries and regions. With comprehensive global and multi-cultural background and experience, Adrian is an accomplished industry executive with a track record of achieving superior results, driving change, providing strategic thought leadership, teaming effectively, attracting and developing talent.
Event 3: IACMR & Zhejiang University Joint Reception

• WHERE: Saturna Island room of The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
This year, IACMR and ZheJiang University will host a joint reception at the Academy of Management Meeting, which will offer Academy members an opportunity to learn about the association, the programs it offers, and ZheJiang University, and to meet others who are also interested in management research in the cross cultural context—especially that of China. Delicious Chinese food and drinks will be provided.
