Position Announcement: Shippensburg University
The Department of Management/Marketing seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning August 2007 and for a full-time temporary (one year) position for the 2007-2008 academic year. Responsibilities: 1) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (possibly including distance education delivery) in Strategic Management and at least one of the following areas-international business, international management, and business and society 2) engage in research/publications; and 3) provide service to the university, college, department, and business community. Requirements and qualifications: An earned doctorate in management or related discipline or ABD from an AACSB accredited university; a current research/publication record (appropriate for graduate level AACSB accreditation); demonstrated teaching effectiveness; and instructional technology capability. A demonstration of teaching effectiveness will be required as part of the interview process. A terminal degree from an accredited institution is required for tenure. All candidates must furnish proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. upon appointment. Shippensburg is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
