The Sonoco International Business Department at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina has the pleasure to inform you about an upcoming SMS Extension on Comparative Corporate Governance and Global Strategy that will take place on September 26 – 27, 2013 in Charleston, South Carolina. The conference will focus on several topics including institutional embeddedness of corporate governance, role of family firms in the global economy, corporate governance in emerging markets, and rise of state capitalism across countries. The objective is to provide an interactive forum for a cross-disciplinary intellectual exchange by bringing together a diverse group of scholars from the fields of corporate governance, global strategy, and international business.
