I would like to draw your attention to a call for papers for a special issue of
Business & Society on
Modern slavery in business: Interdisciplinary perspectives on the 'shadow economy'. As you may be aware, extreme forms of exploitation such as forced labor and modern slavery are receiving increasing attention in academia, practice and policy. The purpose of this special issue is to advance an emerging body of management literature examining the phenomenon of modern slavery by drawing upon high quality research from across and beyond the various management disciplines. Full details are in the attached call for papers, and are also available on the
Business & Society website. The deadline for submissions is December 1, 2017
There will also be a paper development workshop at the University of Nottingham in June 2017 for authors wishing to received feedback from the editors on work in progress. The deadline for submission of a 10 page short paper for the workshop is April 21, 2017. If you have any questions, please just drop me or any of the other special issue co-editors a line.
