green index and minority percentages

  • 1.  green index and minority percentages

    Dear all,

I am looking for an index that ranks companies (world or the U.S.) according to their environmental protection efforts. The Dow Jones sustainability index lumps a lot of things into its index. Forbes lists the top 10 overall and Greenpiece lists the top 18 of technology companies; both somewhat low numbers. I was wondering if there was an index that ranks more companies and focuses only on their "green-ness".

Also, I am looking for data on percentage of employees from developing/developed countries within the larger minority category. There are some rankings on % of minorities, by ethnicities (Latino/Asian/Europeans), but I was wondering whether there are data on % of minorities from developed vs. developing countries within a certain company. Annual reports or company websites may be helpful, but it would be great if aggregated data already existed out there.

I will collect any suggestions I receive back to the list in case others are interested.

    Thank you so much!
    Cristina
