    PTC SCHOLAR PRACTICE IMPACT AWARD

    Dear AOM members,

    This year the Practice Theme Committee (PTC) of the Academy of Management is calling for nominations for the AOM PTC Scholar Practice Impact Award. The award is open to the entire Academy community.

    The AOM PTC Scholar Practice Impact Award seeks to recognize and celebrate an outstanding scholar for her or his contribution to research and theory in practice based studies and overall impact on managerial and organizational practices. The nominee should have a track record of quality publications in academic journals and books and recognized practitioner relevant outlets, as well as have had an impact on policy making and management practice.  Previous winners of this award include Usha Haley, Martha Feldman, Karlene H. Roberts, and Stewart Clegg.

    The nomination period opens March 24th and closes April 30th, 2014. Award recipients will be contacted within four weeks of the closing date. The award will be presented during the PTC Welcome and AOM Awards Ceremony at the 2014 AOM Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.

    To nominate a scholar please send an email containing a cover letter listing the reasons for your nomination and a Curriculum Vitae of the nominee to the Chair of the PTC Awards Committee, Jochen Schweitzer at jochen.schweitzer@uts.edu.au. Please use the following subject line: PTC SPIA 2014.
