    Tenure-Track Opening in Strategic Management, Department of Management, University of Denver, Denver, Colorado

     

    The Department of Management in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure-track faculty position to begin fall 2013. We seek candidates who have teaching and research interests in strategic management, along with supporting interests in international management.   Applications from candidates who share Daniels core values of community, excellence, professionalism and collaboration are especially encouraged. Candidates must have a PhD or DBA in management or other business-related disciplines by the time of appointment is required, although candidates at the ABD level may be considered. 

     

    In the short term, the new hire is expected to teach primarily the undergraduate core course, Business Policy and Strategy, the graduate core course, Strategic Management, and courses in international management.  Longer term, the teaching responsibilities could include other courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, depending upon the qualifications and interests of the hired individual. The new hire is required to make scholarly contributions to the field of strategic management and international management by regularly publishing in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals, and by presenting peer-reviewed work at appropriate academic conferences.  Further, Daniels faculty members have a strong commitment to excellence in research and scholarship.  Information about the Daniels College of Business and the Department of Management can be found at www.daniels.du.edu.
