    The Chair of Human Resource Management, Leadership, and Organization at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, invites applications for

     

    2 positions as a Research and Teaching Assistant (PhD/doctorate degree position or, if applicable, post-doc position)

     

    for candidates with both German and English language skills starting June 1, 2017 and October 1, 2017, respectively.

     

    Appointments are paid TV-L E 13 and are 75% of regular working time, fixed-term for four years with the option of renewal. The positions are qualification positions according to the Act of Academic Fixed-Term Contract (German: Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz)

     

    Your tasks:

    §  Participating in teaching courses in the field of human resource management and organizational behavior

    §  Developing and conducting empirical research projects and scientific publishing in the field of human resource management and organizational behavior, particularly in the chair's main research fields i.e., managing the digital transformation; managing diversity in organizations; managing the risk of corruption in organizations; international human resource management)

    §  Participation in developing funding proposals

    We expect:

    §  Master or diploma degree in business or management studies, psychology, or a related discipline (preferably with a major field of study in a relevant field of management or psychology) that qualifies for doing a PhD/doctorate degree

    §  For a post-doc position (if applicable): PhD/doctorate degree (or close to graduation) in a relevant field of management or psychology

    §  Knowledge and experience in empirical research and data analyses methods (particularly, in quantitative methods and statistical data analyses)

    §  Full proficiency in German and English

    §  Strong interest in empirical research and ability to carry out scientific work

    §  Ability to work autonomously and responsibly

    §  High performance, commitment, and enthusiasm

    §  Persuasive appearance and team spirit
