ASSISTANT PROFESSORS of MANAGEMENT:
The Department of Management in the College of Business & Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks three (3) tenure-track Assistant Professors in Management beginning August, 2019. These are full-time positions with responsibilities for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Management, research, and service to the university and community. Research expertise should complement existing faculty expertise in Strategic Management, AND at least one of the following areas: Social Responsibility, International Management, or Entrepreneurship.
JOB DETAILS:
Successful candidates will be able to teach Management courses as part of the Bachelors in Business Administration, Masters in Business Administration, and Doctorate in Business Administration programs. Candidates must be willing to teach web-based courses. Candidates will be expected to pursue an active research agenda that engages undergraduate and graduate students, results in publications and contributes to advancing the department, university, the profession, and society. Candidates will also be expected to participate in service activities and embrace the principles of diversity and inclusion as a member of the university community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. in Business Administration or related field by August, 2019, from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution is required.
- ABD candidates may apply, but must have their degree completed by the contract start date in August, 2019; if not, they will be hired on a one-year contract with the understanding that their degree will be completed before January, 2020, in advance of their first scheduled review.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching with an emphasis on promoting student success, clear evidence of scholarly potential, commitment to working with diverse populations, and serving as active member of the university community.
- Salary is commensurate with academic preparation and experience.
