Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in International Business or Strategy
Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) China at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China invites applications for open rank tenure-track positions in the area of International Business or Strategy with the Department of International Business and Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant discipline. Excellent English communication skills are essential together with strong teaching abilities. Candidates are also expected to have demonstrated an ability to conduct high-quality research. NUBS China provides a competitive research support package for candidates showing good research output.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver lectures and seminars across all years of
the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; to supervise undergraduate, master's and potentially doctoral dissertations. In addition, there are excellent opportunities for research, and the person appointed will be expected to develop their own research activities and to contribute to the research activities of the School.
Remuneration
NUBS China offers European-level competitive salaries and benefits with reasonable teaching loads. Salary will be within the range of £34,956 - £46,924 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance). In addition, an attractive international benefits package including accommodation allowance, travel allowance, support for international schooling in the greater Ningbo area, and insurance (including international medical insurance) will be provided for international appointments.
