Position and Qualifications
The Department of Management at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University anticipates one tenure-track opening for Fall 2014 in the area of Strategic Management. This opening is at the assistant professor rank. Candidates possessing an earned doctorate or the strong prospect of earning a doctorate by Fall 2014 in strategy or a closely related field are encouraged to apply. Candidates for this position should possess the interest and ability to publish high quality research, have excellent teaching skills, and advance the mission of the Huntsman School of Business and Utah State University.
The nine-month faculty position will receive ample resources to support the development and maintenance of a program of excellence in both teaching and research. Members of the Huntsman School faculty are also expected to provide leadership in their respective programs and to make meaningful contributions to the academic and professional communities. Salary is competitive and based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Summer teaching and research grants may also be available.
