    The editors of Corporate Governance: An International Review (CGIR) are pleased to announce two special issues in 2010.  The first will focus on "Private Equity, LBOs, and Corporate Governance: International Evidence." The Guest Editors for this special issue will be Drs. Igor Filatotchev, Don Siegel, and Mike Wright.  The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2010 and a select group of papers will be invited to attend a special issue workshop on June 25-26 at SUNY-Albany.  Additional details are attached to this announcement.
     
    The second special issue will focus on "Corporate Governance and the Global Financial Crisis."  The Guest Editors for this special issue will be Drs. Mike Useem, Mauro Guillen and Bill Judge.  The deadline for conference abstract submissions is March 1, 2010.  The deadline for special issue paper submissions is August 1, 2010.  Details for the conference and the special issue are also attached to this announcement and are available on the conference website: http://gfc.wharton.upenn.edu/ .
