Dear all
Emerald has just published the first issue of the Nankai Business Review International (NBRI). The journal is edited by Professor Wei'an Li and is published in association with Nankai University, China.
With Chinese business as the focus, NBRI aims to realize the following objectives:
• Study the adaptation of American and European management theory in China as Chinese enterprises develop in a transition economy.
• Study the relationship between Chinese enterprises' management practice and social evolution.
• Showcase management theory based on Chinese cultural characteristics.
NBRI is an English-language sister publication to the well established Mandarin-language journal Nankai Business Review.
NBRI publishes research papers, both qualitative and quantitative which address issues relevant to business management in China as well as comparative studies. NBRI publishes papers on the following areas: corporate governance, strategic management and operational practices.
The journal also publishes book reviews of literature on Chinese management theory, conference reports, and case studies that present quality descriptions of successful business practices. If you are interested in submitting an article please see the journal website: http://www.emeraldinsight.com/nbri.htm.
For free online access to the first issue until the end of January 2011, please see the Emerald new launch publications page.
Kind regards
Martyn
