    Hi,

My colleagues and I are organizing a symposium for the upcoming Academy of Management meeting which addresses the question how individuals and/or organizations define excellence/competence/success across different national contexts. So far, we have four papers which highlight different definitions of excellence/competence/success in large corporations, professional service firms, and academia. National contexts include North America (Canada and the US), Europe (France, Netherlands, Germany) as well as Asia (China, India, Singapore). Now, we are looking for one or two additional papers that speak to definitions of success/excellence/competence, ideally in an Asian context. Papers based on quantiative as well as qualitative methods are welcome. If you have a paper that would fit closely with the theme of the symposium and would like to participate, please let me know as soon as possible.

    Happy Holidays and best regards,

    Claudia
