  • 1.  AIB-Latin American Chapter membership

    Esteemed colleagues,

    Last July the Academy of International Business (AIB) Executive Board authorized the official creation of the Latin American chapter (AIB-LAT), and we materialized the long-awaited goal of forming an AIB chapter dedicated to our region of the world.

    We cordially invite IB scholars either residing in or interested in Latin America to register on the AIB-LAT website ( http://www.aib-lat.org/ ) and participate in the activities that we will continually announce.  Any member of AIB who lives in Latin America is automatically considered a member of AIB-LAT; however, registering on the webpage will provide access to useful information about joint research opportunities, conferences and other activities, and member networking. 

    Attached are Spanish and Portuguese language copies of the first AIB-LAT newsletter, published in December.  Those who register on the AIB-LAT webpage will continue to receive the trimestral newsletter.

    This is a good idea. I already registered.

    I suggest publishing the newsletter in English as well for those who are interested or may be interested but cannot read Portuguese or Spanish well.
