1st oikos UNDP Young Scholars Development Academy 2009
Growing Inclusive Markets
December 6-11, 2009, Switzerland
Abstract submission deadline: September 30, 2009
oikos and UNDP invite doctoral candidates to submit a paper to the
10th international oikos UNDP Young Scholars Development Academy, on
the topic of “Growing Inclusive Markets”.
The Academy provides PhD students and young scholars working on
poverty and sustainable development from a management or economics
perspective a platform to present and discuss their ongoing research
projects with fellow students and senior faculty.
Feedback will be given by
– Jonathan P. Doh, Villanova School of Business, USA
– Ashok Som, ESSEC Business School, France
– David Wheeler, Dalhousie University, Canada
The interactive programme will encompass young scholars presentations,
guest lectures, professional development roundtables, social events
and a practitioner day with responsAbility Social Investments Ltd.,
Zürich.
To allow in-depth discussions the academy is limited to 15 PhD
students and young scholars. Please, send us your proposal abstract
(max. 2-3 pages), a short curriculum vitae and a letter of interest
