The Montreal Local-Global Research Group's objective is to pursue
research to better understand the dynamics between corporations, both
indigenous and multinational, and local pressures in developing,
transitional and emerging economies. We use a multidisciplinary
approach to discover beneficial corporate and local strategies to
promote long term economic growth consistent with local traditional
and cultural norms. Please visit our web site, and find us at the
following presentations at the Academy of Management (7-11 August
