    Global View Challenge 2009-2

The Global View Challenge is a two phase, bilingual English-Spanish undergraduate international business student competition.  The first phase, running from September 11 through October 23, consists of seven rounds of on-line decision making in the Global View Advanced Business Simulation in which teams of 4 to 6 undergraduate students create and manage a virtual multinational company.  Participants acquire a comprehensive perspective of the organization while working as a team to develop business strategy in all functional areas.  The second phase, October 28 through 31, is a face-to-face championship on the campus of this semester´s host, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali, Colombia.  There, teams will take part in intense, fast-past case studies, conferences, presentations, and eliminatory rounds until the naming of the Global View Challenge Champion 2009-2.  The inscription fee per team is only $300 USD, discount available for lower income countries, with registration open until August 31.  For more information, contact Anne Marie Zwerg-Villegas, Coordinator Area International Trade, Universidad EAFIT, azwerg@eafit.edu.co.
