Clinical Professor of International Business
The Sonoco International Business Department, Darla Moore School of Business, at the University of South Carolina is conducting a search to fill a non tenure-track position. The position begins August, 2010. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
A completed doctoral degree with a specialization in international business is preferred. However, candidates with extensive experience in the practice of international business will also be considered. The primary responsibility of the position will be teaching international courses as well as pedagogical and curriculum development within the international business undergraduate program. We seek applicants that are exceptional teachers, with demonstrated outstanding performance in the classroom and commitment to student development. The position would include extensive interactions with high-achieving undergraduate students, working with the office of career management in helping these students obtain internships and job placements and other services to the department and school. Participation in professional activities that maintain and promote effectiveness in international business practice and education are supported and expected.
The Darla Moore School of Business is recognized for its innovative international business programs, including an undergraduate international business major, joint undergraduate international business program with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, international master in business administration, a global executive program in Guadalajara, Mexico, and an international business major at the doctoral level.
