| Call for papers, plan ahead: Leadership And Management Studies In Sub-Sahara Africa Conference LMSSSA2010, Cape Town, South Africa, 22- 24 November 2010, Southern Summer http://crossculturalcentre.homestead.com/LMSSSA2010.html Following the two successful conferences, 2006 in Zanzibar and 2008 in Accra, Ghana, LMSSSA2010 will take place in Cape Town, South Africa. LMSSSA is a voluntary association of researchers and practitioners interested in facilitation of development in Sub-Saharan Africa. Planned venue: The Breakwater Lodge, Portswood Road, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, http://www.breakwaterlodge.co.za/ Paper submissions are open; early submission = early notification; ample time for any suggested revisions, contact LMSSSA2010@yahoo.com . Paper deadline is 31 May 2009. Papers will be blind evaluated by two reviewers, borderline papers received early may be revised and resubmitted. Conference proceedings with full papers will be published, and selected papers will be published as a book chapter. There is a best paper competition in the area "Women, Management, Leadership in Sub-Sahara African Organisations". Papers must focus on management and/or leadership in Sub-Saharan African organisations, broadly defined. Papers should be in APA format with the exception that they should be single-spaced with tables and figures at the appropriate location in the body of the text of the paper (not at the end). As the publication of proceedings will be via a CD, there is no length restriction, within reason. Please number pages at bottom centre footer. Papers will be selected for two streams, a COMPETITIVE STREAM and a DEVELOPING RESEARCH STREAM, the latter is research in progress, working papers, basically research at an incomplete stage of development that participants want to present that is focussed on the conference theme. Some may not have the time to produce a competitive paper, but still want to present their information for discussion. Competitive papers that reviewers decide are not sufficiently well developed may be invited to present in the Developing Research stream. Romie F.
