I facilitate a global project concerning managerial leadership and individual values across cultures. We have data from 25 samples in 15 countries so far. The project has several streams, Hofstede's 2008 7-dimensional theory related to preferred leader behaviour, Schwartz SVS theory related to preferred leader behaviour, and simpler studies relating only to culture or only to leader behaviour preferences in a society.

A new project attempts to build a charisma scale for the preferred leader behaviour survey; we have run it once in Turkey.

The Government of Canada sponsors joint projects between NZ and Canadian academics, see:

The 2010 application deadline is due in a month, the 2011 in a month and a year. If you're interested in further discussion please contact me at ROMIE.LITTRELL@AUT.AC.NZ
