Hola,
I am creating a course on managing international diversity. It takes a
somewhat different perspective to culture. We are trying to introduce
notions of how a firm deals with managing a culturally diverse workforce by
trying to go beyond courses that simply look at how to do business in a
certain country.
For example...
- how a firm deals with expatriates in its home country and when it ships
employees abroad.
- a comparison of how a US firm deals with its international work force, at
its US locations and abroad, vs how a French or Chinese firm may do so
- how dealing with different cultures may vary in an M&A, alliance,
greenfield, or export-import context, among others.
A syllabus or article suggestions would be of much help!
Sorry for cross postings.
Thank you for your help,
Maria
