  • 1.  Anaheim Awaits YOU! Last minute thoughts from the IM Division Program Chair

    Dear Colleagues,

Join me also in welcoming Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh who has kindly agreed to be the Associate Editor for the Anaheim program and will be helping me through your papers and symposium submissions.  We are hoping many of you have already submitted or are preparing to submit your papers to the IM Division for consideration for our 2016 AOM Meeting. We hope you will help us break the submissions record this year.

Here are some last minute thoughts and information for all:

    1. Make an entry into the system asap if you are racing against the deadline.  This way all you will need to do at the last moment is upload your manuscript file.  This will save you time as the system gets really hammered and slow at the last minute.

    2. Choose carefully your keywords as this will help better match you with the reviewers.  We are attempting to use this year the automatic reviewer-manuscript matching system.

    3. As you submit your papers, make sure you also sign in to be a reviewer and remind your coauthors to do the same.  We need quality reviewers like you so that we can provide all our members timely and quality feedback on their manuscripts.

    3. Once this is done sit back and relax. We hope to have many acceptances and to see you all in Anaheim. This division also has a record number of awards so the likelihood of getting nominated and getting a prize is high.  So hopefully your best work will also be recognized.

    Happy 2016 to all.

    Aya
