The Department of Management, International Business & Entrepreneurship at
Florida Atlantic University (FAU) invites applicants for a tenure-track
position at the Associate level in International Business. We are
particularly interested in candidates with interests in International
Strategy. The position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate
levels (MBA and PhD); the successful candidate will be expected to work
with doctoral students, to interact with the business community and to help
lead program and curriculum development.
FAU is one of 11 public universities in Florida. Located in Southeast
Florida, it serves approximately 25,000 students in a fast growing region
which includes the cities of Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm
Beach. The population is multicultural, and the area is recognized as a
center for tourism and international trade and finance. The College of
Business is accredited by AACSB at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
This position will be at our Ft. Lauderdale campus.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Business Administration with emphasis in International Business,
with strong evidence of an on-going commitment to International Business
education and research. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong
research and teaching record in the international business area.
Preference given to candidates with business experience, accomplishments in
working with the business community and foreign language skills.
