THUNDERBIRD INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
REVIEW CALL FOR PAPERS
Thunderbird International Business Review is pleased to announce exciting changes and we solicit your help! As Editor, I have committed to repositioning TIBR from a traditional, academic journal to a cutting-edge, first-tier journal with accessible, thought-provoking content that enables the active exchange of ideas and research among international business practitioners and the applied scholars who study international business.
The new TIBR mission is to be the most trusted source of useful and innovative thought leadership for global business leaders. Our target readers are those interested in bridging academic research and the practice of international business including business and academic applied researchers, theorists, consultants, international business executives, government executives, and educators. TIBR strives to allow academics to learn from practitioners and practitioners to apply leading-edge research theories to their day-to-day operations.
TIBR will now cover all general international business topics, with a particular emphasis on thought leadership and innovative solutions to contemporary international business challenges across a global range of industries and functions. TIBR emphasizes thought leadership through applied research, papers, essays, research notes, dialogs, book and research updates and comments from readers on published papers. Case studies with commentary will also be considered for publication. Editorial comments and invited papers and special issues on practices and developments in international business appear from time to time. All manuscripts will be reviewed using a double-blind review process. Submissions acceptable to our editorial board will be published.
Now, to the part about your help...we are soliciting manuscripts that provide useful and innovative thought leadership content for global business leaders and applied scholars who study international business. This is an opportunity to reach out to practitioners and help them apply your leading-edge research theories to their day-to-day operations or influence applied scholars regarding the practical applications of your work. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this new opportunity. Any questions about manuscript potential may be submitted to TIBR Editor Mary B. Teagarden at teagardenm@t-bird.edu or to Managing Editor Suzy Howell at howells@t-bird.edu
Prospective authors should submit articles online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tibr and follow directions for submission by clicking on the Create Account tab at the upper right hand corner of the web page.
