    San Diego State University seeks candidates for an assistant or associate professor, tenure-track position in one of five departments within the College of Business Administration beginning in Fall 2015. Qualified applicants must have a doctorate in International Business or a related field by August 2015. We are seeking candidates with demonstrated teaching and research capabilities in the area of International Business.

    Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in curriculum design and teaching at the MBA/MS and undergraduate levels in the internationalization of their area of expertise. Candidates will be expected to do curriculum development and teaching in the area of international business. Candidates also must show evidence of collaboration across different departments within the business field, and across different colleges or schools within a university.

    Applicants should possess strong research interest and capability as evidenced by an appropriate history of, or potential for, professional growth activity. This will include regular publication in quality, refereed journals and professional conference participation as well as demonstration of an active, ongoing research program. An ability to effectively engage in institutional grant writing and evidence of multidisciplinary research and appreciation of various methodological approaches are preferred qualifications for this position.

    Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate an ability to interact effectively with members of the business community.
