Hello Markus,
Probably studying Geert Hofstede's work is self-evident for any
cross-cultural management scholar, but let me recommend here one of his less
known books:
Gert Jan Hofstede, Paul B. Pedersen, Geert Hofstede (Eds.). Exploring
Culture: Exercises, Stories and Synthetic Cultures. 234 pages. Yarmouth,
Maine: Intercultural Press, 2002, paperback. ISBN 1-877864-90-0.
It has plenty of interesting exercises and fun games to use in
cross-cultural training.
An overview of the concepts and info on the other books you can find at
www.geerthofstede.nl

Subject: Training programs for cross-cultural trainers?
Hi there,
One of my MBA students is looking for a training program that would
provide her with the skills and knowledge to work as a cross-cultural
trainer. She has extensive cross-cultural experience herself and has
been looking at the course offerings of Diversity Training University
International in San Francisco. Are you familiar with similar part-time
and online programs? Are there any that you are involved in that you
would recommend? I'd greatly appreciate any pointers you may have.
Regards,
Markus Vodosek
