Dear colleagues,
the Department of International Management at FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in <st1:city w:st="on">Graz</st1:city> (http://www.graz.at/EN) is one of the internationally most active departments in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Austria</st1:place></st1:country-region>. We offer courses in international business and international management on the undergraduate and graduate level, are very active in EU-funded research programs and also publish the European Journal of International Management (EJIM, www.inderscience.com/ejim).
We currently maintain formal cooperation agreements with more than 60 universities worldwide and each semester receive exchange students from more than 25 different nations. Incoming exchange students pursue courses in a special program titled "GLOBAL BUSINESS PROGRAM", a blend of international business and international management courses (the fall 2007 program can be found at http://www.fh-joanneum.at/aw/home/Studienangebot/Business/mig/Studium/Service/download-center/~bfmx/GBP_Fall_/?lan=en). Currently we would like to build more formal partnerships with like-minded business schools in <st1:country-region w:st="on">Russia</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">China</st1:country-region> and <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place> who are interested in exchanging students and faculty and in engaging in joint research proposals.
