  • 1.  Business Ethics Survey

    Hello all,

Here's a fascinating survey developed in part by Kenneth Goodpaster and
Dean Maines at the University of St. Thomas.

I'm using it to compile data for an article "Is Corporate America Mostly
Ethical? Testing the Bad Apple Theory," to appear in a volume I'm editing
entitled Doing Well AND Good: The Human Face of the New Capitalism (Ethics
in Practice Series, Information Age Publishing). FYI: I'm still accepting
    abstracts if anyone is interested.

But what I need asap is for as many of you as possible who have worked in
the private sector within roughly the last decade to take about 15 minutes
to fill out this survey, with respect to the company you worked at the
longest and/or most recently. Disclosure of the company name is voluntary
and will be kept confidential. Company names will not be mentioned in the
    article.

Please simply download the survey in word format, fill it out, save it,
    and email it to:

    businessethicssurvey@gmail.com

If the file is corrupted, please fwd your request to that same address.

You might want also to see the final results of your own survey. If so,
please use the attached scorecard and attach that completed form with your
survey. I'm sending it in another email because of the post size limit.

    Sincerely, and thank you,

    Julian Friedland

    Hi Julian:

I am wondering if you would be interested in a chapter on the servant leadership model as a way to enhance business ethics and weed out the bad apples.

    Hello all,

Apologies to all who have already seen this message. With the vacation

previously away from email to have an opportunity to respond.

    Hello all,

Apologies for sending out this survey again; however, we have adapted it
into a more user friendly form, and would like to give those who have not
participated as of yet a chance to do so.
