I hope that this note finds you well.
I am pleased to send you the Call for Papers and Proposals (CfP) for the 16th Annual McGill International Entrepreneurship Conference in Montreal. I should have sent it to you much earlier; but there were technical problems that delayed the process. Please find CfP attached and block the first week of August on your calendar to join us in the MIE conference in Montreal.
May I also kindly ask you to send the CfP to the friends, colleagues and specially Doctoral Students in your network and post it on the websites (or to e-mail lists) to which you have access – I THANK YOU in advance. If there are lists or groups that you think I should approach, please do let me know. If you receive multiple copies of the CfP from other colleagues in the next few days, I apologize.
Regarding the dates, we had to move the conference from its traditional dates in the third week of September to early August for a variety reasons. Given all other conferences in the Summer, and in August in particular, the first week of August turned out to be the best choice. No single date could satisfy all considerations and this was not an easy decision as we took many factors into consideration. It was finalized after consultation with those scholars asking for the change.
I hope that you can manage your schedule to attend. On the bright side of the change, the new dates allow scholars to join the McGill conference and also attend AMA and AOM conferences, if they wish to do so in the first two weeks of August 2013.
Finally, please note that the MIE Conference website is still undergoing re-construction and not yet open for viewing for another few days; but we will post further developments and news bulletins there when needed as in the past.
