    Hi All,
    What is the best way to calculate cultural distance at the individual level? I am working with several expatriate from a variety of countries and need to figure the distance between their country of birth and destination country (<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">UK</st1:country-region></st1:place>).
     Any help will be much appreciated!

    Hello Peter,

    I developed an institutional distance measure at the individual level for my dissertation.  But I haven't published it yet.  If you're interested, let me know what you're working on and if I can help.

    Hi Peter,

    My view is that cultural distance should be calculated at the cultural
    level. If you are looking for measure at the individual level you
    should focus on psychic distance. For more info see:
