| Gender and Diversity Pre-conference Workshop Title: Beyond Gender and Diversity? Yeah, right! Gender and diversity scholarship in business, management and organisations studies has evolved in complexity over the past two decades. The Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Gender and Diversity Research Group is sponsoring its inaugural one day workshop on <st1:date year="2008" day="1" month="12" w:st="on">the 1st December 2008</st1:date>. This day is adjacent to the annual ANZAM (Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management) conference to be held in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Auckland</st1:place></st1:city>. This gathering will provide an opportunity for experienced and emerging research academics to explore recent debates in the gender and diversity literature in a supportive yet critical environment. The four targeted themes for discussion will be: Feminist epistemologies- and your standpoint is? Identity intersectionality Context is crucial Unraveling gendered universities This is a highly participative conference. You are invited to submit a brief abstract which will be a summary (max 500 words) of your interest in one of the four themes, as well as an annotated list of your five favourite/inspirational articles/readings in the area. Your submission will be blind refereed by the program committee.
