Dear Colleagues,
Following my recent request for Schwartz's cultural indices, I have received dozens of messages and learned more about the data availability. Here is a brief summary for those who may be searching for the data:
An earlier version of the dataset containing indices for 38 countries is available in a 1994 chapter by Prof. Schwartz, pp. 112-115.
Schwartz, S. H. (1994). Beyond individualism/collectivism: New cultural dimensions of values. In U. Kim, H. C. Triandis, C. Kagitcibasi, S. C. Choi & G. Yoon (Eds.), Individualism and Collectivism: Theory, Methods and Applications (pp. 85-119). London: Sage Publications.
Since that publication, the dataset has been substantially expanded and updated and it now contains data from 77 countries. The updated indices are somewhat different from those published in 1994. The complete most recent data have not been published; they could be obtained from Prof. Schwartz directly.
