OB/HRM: Assistant Professor Position <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:place>
The Division of Management in the Michael F. Price College of Business at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:place> is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Organizational Behavior/Human Resources Management starting in August, 2008. Both newly-minted Ph.D.s and advanced assistant professors are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of scholarly research and/or an emerging research stream that includes potential for publication in leading academic journals. Duties will include a standard teaching load of 6 hours per semester, advising Ph.D. students, maintaining an active and creative research agenda, developing synergistic relationships with students and colleagues, and a contribution of service to the <st1:placename w:st="on">Price</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype>, to the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:place>, and to our profession. Requirements:
Earned Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, or related disciplines, or ABD with dissertation defended by August 2008. We are especially interested in candidates who might enjoy teaching courses in leadership and/or negotiations. International interests are a definite plus. The position is to be filled by August 2008. The deadline for the initial screening of candidates is February 15, 2008 and will remain open until the position is filled.
