Faculty Position Announcement
The Brock School of Business at Samford University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Management and Marketing (rank is open) to begin Fall 2008. Required qualifications include an earned doctorate in management or related field (ABDs near completion will be considered).
The Brock School of Business is currently implementing initiatives to establish a world-class entrepreneurship program that provides students cross-disciplinary training in critical aspects of starting and managing a small, new, or family business. Thus, the successful candidate for this position should have teaching interests in either (1) core and elective entrepreneurship courses or (2) introductory, upper-level, and graduate management courses (the area of specialization within management is open). Standard teaching loads are 3 courses per semester, and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
