Apologies for cross-postings.
Researchers interested in international business issues may be
interested in reviewing a newly published, three-volume collection of
articles entitled International Business and Globalization edited by
John D. Daniels (University of Miami) and Jeffrey A. Krug (Virginia
Commonwealth University) and just published by Sage Publications
(www.sagepub.com).
A table of contents is attached. The objective was to compile a
scholarly reference of chapters and articles that included diverse
viewpoints, classics as well as modern treatises, analyses by writers
from different parts of the world, and entries from a broad spectrum of
journals from business, economics, and other disciplines. The final
collection included contributions from 39 scholarly journals and five
books, spanned a time-frame from 1960 through 2006, and included authors
of various nationalities who have taught or work in a variety of
organizations located all over the world.
The collection is designed for libraries as a reference source. It
might also be used as a basis for doctoral seminars in international
business and for a good review of the literature in the area.
