We are delighted to announce that Emerald's Chinese Management Studies has been selected for coverage in Thomson Reuters (ISI) Social Sciences Citation Index, plus Current Contents/Social & Behavioral Sciences. Since its launch in 2007, CMS has been edited by Professor Foo Check Teck of the Aventis School of Management in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Singapore</st1:country-region></st1:place>.
The Editor said: "It is most timely that Chinese Management Studies is listed in the SSCI. As <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">China</st1:country-region></st1:place> moves to centre stage in global economics, there is a greater urgency for rigorous, scholarly papers on Chinese management. In addition to empirical work, there is a need for research that clearly demonstrates how timeless Chinese values, beliefs, philosophy, culture and ethics are integrated into the practice of Chinese management. This is the unique approach of Chinese Management Studies."
