There will be a 3–day Research Methodology Workshop to help faculty write
papers for publication in scholarly journals and to help doctoral students
to improve their dissertations and publish their research in scholarly
journals.
1. Phase 1 (April 12): Formulation of hypotheses and creative ways of
developing psychometrically sound measures that are free from method
variance and social desirability responding and preparing data for
Exploratory Factor Analysis with SPSS.
2. Phase 2 (April 13): Pearson correlations, Cronbach alpha, Regression
Analysis, Hierarchical Regression Analysis, estimating and plotting
interaction effects, ANOVA, and MANOVA.
3. Phase 3 (April 14): Computing and interpreting Confirmatory Factor
Analysis and Structural Equations Models with LISREL.
If you want to attend this workshop, you will be required to pre-register
for it and bring to our Skype meeting your laptop with SPSS and LISREL
packages and the data file and questionnaires that you receive from us.
(There will be no walk-in registration for the Workshop & is limited to 25
professionals.)
I will use PowerPoint presentations to show step-by-step analysis of data
and results. We will also show you how to report results in your paper
that you want to submit to scholarly journals for review.
Although this workshop is for new faculty and doctoral students,
consultants and senior scholars will find this workshop very useful to
update their data analysis, interpretation, and reporting skills.
