Dear Colleagues,
Are you conducting research that focuses on forthcoming organizational challenges and would like feedback from some of the most prominent scholars and practitioners in the field of management consulting? Then the "Management Consulting in the Rough: Linking Research and Practice to Address Organizational Concerns" PDW at AoM in Orlando is for you.
The PDW organizers are accepting submissions for a segment of this professional development workshop that centers on designing useful research that addresses forthcoming organizational challenges. Scholars, practitioners, and doctoral students are encouraged to submit a brief 1-2 page research proposal that focuses on an approaching and divergent organizational challenge in the field of management consulting in need of research. The proposal should include a description of a looming and important management consulting challenge, how it might be researched, and how the results of the research could be effectively transferred to an organizational setting.
Five proposals will be accepted. At the workshop, the selected researchers will deliver five-minute presentations summarizing their proposals and then be organized into small groups to gain feedback for further development. The deadline for submitting a proposal is July 17, 2013.
